One question I am often asked is, "We saw the North Pole in a movie, is it really like that?" The answer is a mix of yes and no. Some movies like The Santa Clause, Polar Express, and Fred Claus show parts of the actual North Pole. At times, sets were used to avoid disturbing the working elves, while other scenes were filmed on location. The North Pole is made up of an old section and a new section. The Old Pole looks like what is you see in the Polar Express, whereas the New Pole looks like what you see in The Santa Clause and Fred Claus. Therefore, it's a combination of both!
